Life Drawing 28th February 2011

I was having trouble with proportion and being able to place the figure in such a way that parts didn't go off the page! It was very frustrating. A couple of times I even rubbed out and retsarted a pose only to have the same thing happen. Something in my spacial perception needs tightening. Oh well, everyone has bad days, I guess.

Life Drawing 21st February 2011

First life-drawing session of the year. A good model, but oddly proportioned. He had a very large belly which threw me at the start. I think I got better towards the end, and I was happy with the last pose. I'd put the left arm in the wrong spot and was tempted just to leave it, but figured since it was such a long pose, I really should fix it. I'm glad I did.

February Feet

Feet are not something I'm able to draw easily. Thus, to remedy the situation, AD and I took a bunch of photos of our feet from which I can do some study sketching. This will be my primary sketching focus during February.
