Intensity Club #10

Today's topic was Giant Daydreamer. I did a few thumbnails but they were all looking like cavemen so I figured I'd try a giant of a different species. My intention was to keep the colours flat, and consequently my idea of lighting went out the window! Plus it doesn't really register this animal is a giant... I needed some scaling elements, like a shipwreck or a scuba diver. More elements to the daydream bubble would've been better, such as the flying octopus going over buildings.
Next time, Gadget.

Intensity Club #6

Topic: Man vs Nature.
As usual, what was in my head was not realised on the page, but it's all practice.

Life-drawing 30th May 2010

I wasn't drawing as fast as I would've liked for this session, and my sense of proportion was off, hence the apparently MASSIVE feet on the model!

Intensity Club #4

My second go at this activity over at sketchoholic.com. The theme was 'Granny With A Gun'. I'm shit at guns, as evidenced by my rubbish version of a gattling gun. And I don't know waht I was doing with that bloody ground shadow!

Intensity Club # 2 @ sketchaholic.com

I've been meaning to do one of the drawing sessions on Sketchaholic but only worked out the time difference today.
Today's topic was Shaman, and we had an hour to draw. I'm a slow drawer, so this was somewhat painful, but necessary. I will try to make it a regular thing.
